It seems that iQoo is working on a new mid-range smartphone likely to be named iQoo U5e. The handset has been spotted on a Chinese telecom terminal website with model number V2197A. The listing reveals key specifications and features of the phone.
An iQoo smartphone with the same model number has been recently spotted on TENAA and 3C certification websites.
Based on the listing, the iQoo U5e is expected to feature a 6.51-inch HD+ display and a waterdrop notch. The handset is tipped to feature a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor along with an 8MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone is said to come with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage with support for 1TB expandable storage. The handset will reportedly be a 5G handset which means it will feature a 5G chipset, which unfortunately the listing does not reveal.
iQoo U5e will be backed by a 5000mAh battery. It is expected to feature a USB Type-C port, side-mounted fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm headphone jack.
As of now, there’s no information on when the smartphone will be launched or when it will arrive in other regions.
For those unaware, iQoo has recently launched its Neo 6 5G smartphone powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The handset comes pre-installed with FunTouch OS 12 based on Android 12 operating system.
