Investors will keenly follow the performance of Infosys, the country’s second-largest IT exporter, which will be declared on Thursday.

Synopsis

Of the three top-rung IT exporters that have so far declared results for the September quarter, TCS and Wipro reported 4% and 4.1% sequential growth, respectively, in the dollar-denominated revenues while HCL Tech’s growth rate was marginally lower at 3.8%.

ET Intelligence Group: The second quarter numbers declared by HCL Technologies and Wipro on Wednesday assert the trend seen in the performance of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) declared on Monday – strong sequential growth in constant currency (CC) revenue marred by the cross-currency effects, receding pressure on the supply side or the headcount leading to either stable or higher operating margin and sustained growth in order bookings.
