Former Tottenham Hotspur footballer and pundit Jamie Redknapp, 49, shared several sweet photos of the Christmas Day he had spent with his family in view of his 1.4 million Instagram followers yesterday. However, the dad-of-three inadvertently caused a stir as he revealed a professional chef from a fine dining restaurant had been in charge of preparing the festive meal they all enjoyed.
Jamie posted several snaps of his celebrations with wife Frida Redknapp, 37, and their blended family, including eldest sons Charley and Beau, whom the sportsman shares with ex-wife Louise Redknapp, 48, and the new couple’s baby son Raphael.
Jamie’s famous parents, Harry and Sandra Redknapp, also joined the party, as the group tucked into some delicious Christmas treats.
The Sky Sports pundit wrote alongside the festive photos: “Happy Christmas and God Jul [love heart emoji] .
“Love from our family . Amazing food @rest_story,” Jamie added, crediting the chef from 2 Michelin star eatery, Restaurant Story, for the meal.

gareth.tudor fumed: “Great but cook your own f**king food it means more.”
However, some Instagram users defended Jamie and his family, with faulkner.georgina replying: “You go mate only one life.”
kirkmarkreynolds argued: “some people just want to be offended at every thing.”
triciauno added: “Or maybe his father paid. Keeping someone in employed and could be a treat.
“Buying everyone Rolex watches is showing off…If l could afford it l would too get a chef in.”
melaniecainfryer gushed over the family’s festive outfits, commenting: “Loving the The North Pole jumpers! Can I ask where you got them from please? Merry Christmas!”
Amid the backlash, Jamie took to Instagram once again on Boxing Day to reveal his new wife Frida had prepared part of the meal.
The Swedish model smiled for the camera while posing in front of plates of food.
Jamie captioned the Boomerang image: “Very proud of her Swedish feast thanks @Frida_Redknapp we loved it #swedishmeatballs.”
