Clarkson’s Farm fans are delighted to have been introduced to the newest addition to Diddly Squat Farm, a calf named Violet. The newborn arrived earlier today and was announced on the official Instagram for Diddly Squat Farm Shop.

The account’s 707,000 followers were treated to an adorable photo of baby Violet lying close to her mum who sits watching over her.

Fans were sent into a frenzy and took to the comments to congratulate Jeremy and co-star Kaleb Cooper.

Kat wrote: “Congratulations on your new addition.”

Caroline said: “Hooray! Great work everyone.”

An account for Midleton Tattoo Club penned: “Well done mummy️ (love the name, we’ve a boxer called Violet!)”

And Mary added: “Sweet, love her name. Did Kaleb assist?”

Photos shared last night confirmed that Kaleb did assist with the birth.

Posted at around 10pm, the pregnant cow looked ready to pop as she lay in her barn with Kaleb keeping a watchful eye.

The news comes after Amazon released a first look at the upcoming series of the farming show.

In a video, Jeremy says: “Following the success of the first series, I am delighted to say that there will be a second series of Clarkson’s Farm.”

Off-camera, Kaleb teases: “You mean Kaleb’s farm?” to which Jeremy swiftly ignores and continues: “The team are back.

“Charlie, Lisa, Gerald and the foetus in the tractor,” and Kaleb turns the camera on himself and repeats: “Kaleb’s farm.”

There hasn’t been an official release date for the new series, but Amazon has teased it will bring a “deeper insight into another year on Diddly Squat Farm”.

A statement read: “Jeremy aims to diversify, expanding his limited agricultural knowledge under the watchful eye of his no-nonsense team.

“Series two promises to bring more laughs, triumphs and tribulations, and of course more farming faux pas, as we follow Jeremy and co on their agricultural adventure.”
