Jubilee trailer: Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana’s period drama is all about old Bollywood
The first full-length trailer of Jubilee is out. The series directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and created by Motwane and Shoumik Sen is all about the golden era of movies. It features a star-studded ensemble cast including Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aparshakti Khurana, Wamiqa Gabbi and others.
The trailer of Jubilee takes us into the glitz, glamour and scandals of the film industry of the late ’40s. It introduces Aparshakti Khurana’s Binod Das who goes by the stage name Madan Kumar as he navigates the cut-throat industry. We also get glimpses of Aditi Rao Hydari, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Sidhant Gupta’s characters.

Apart from the struggles of working in old Bollywood, the trailer also teases a crime that has something to do with the show’s main conflict. And it’s as intriguing as it gets.
The official synopsis reads, “Set in a newly independent India, Jubilee is a fictional period drama that unveils the stories and dreams that gave birth to Bollywood, as we know it.”
The first five episodes of Jubilee are all set to release on April 7, 2023 on OTT. The remaining five episodes will release on April 14.
