Hip-Hop artist Kanye “Ye” West has become the talk of the town following his recent split with model Kim Kardashian.

For the past few days, Ye has been the been the big focus of celebrity media thanks to his various antics regarding the social media activity of his kid North West.

However, during all this press about him and his family, Ye has bought himself a new car and he has coined it the ‘Yemobile’, which is a play on Batman’s Batmobile.

Most fans were wowed by the sleek one-of-a-kind car, and many thought it was a custom automobile. However, automotive fans recognized the vehicle right away as it’s none other than a Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) ride.

The car in question is the BAC Mono, which was first released by the British supercar manufacturer back in 2011.

The latest model which is owned by the popular artist costs some serious money as BAC sells the performance vehicle for over $220,000.

However, for that price, Ye gets to be behind the wheel of one of British’s best automotive export in a car which just weighs over 555 kg.

Additionally, it also features a 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine which produces 332 bhp. Thanks to the combination of the lightweight design and the powerful engine, Ye’s BAC Mono accelerates from 0-60 mph in around 2.7 seconds. Moreover, it also has a top speed of 170 mph.

While it certainly has the numbers for a supercar, it’s the exterior of the single-seater car that catches the attention of automotive enthusiasts, and with a black paint job, Ye’s BAC Mono looks quite close to Bruce Wayne’s Batmobile.

While Travis Scott’s look as Batman was subjected to a lot of ridicule during Halloween last year, it seems like Ye’s efforts to be Batman has received a lot of positive comments as fans adored his choice to purchase the British supercar, and auto enthusiasts will agree that the rapper has definitely bought himself a nice ride.
