The film has been nominated in two categories: Best Picture – Non-English and Best Original Song – Motion Picture.
Karan Johar took to his Instagram to share the news and wrote, “Go team RRR #GoldenGlobes. This is just incredible and beginning of amazement ahead.”

RRR centres on two real-life Indian revolutionaries: Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, in a pre-Independence fictitious drama set in the 1920s.
