The Hindi film industry is replete with celebrity siblings. They always have a special place in the family and most of these sibling duos in tinsel town are well-known for their precious bond and how they always have each other’s backs.
In a recent throwback video, a snippet of an earlier interview with Kareena Kapoor Khan reveals how there was a severe lack of support for sister Karisma Kapoor when she decided to be an actress. The actress further adds how no one except their mother truly supported her.
She further added, “I’ve seen her sit up with my mother and cry, saying that she would never make it, and people would put her down.”
She went on to share how it truly hurt her to see her sister, who is lovingly called Lolo, often crying because of this predicament.
Commenting on her family’s reaction when Karisma got through Harvard, she shared, “Everyone over-reacted, because a Kapoor girl is in Harvard, as everyone else had failed the eighth standard.”
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan has Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Aamir Khan waiting to be released.
