Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3, also known as the Swordsmith Village Arc, will be available on Crunchyroll at the same time it premieres in Japan.

Anime fans looking forward to the highly anticipated new season can therefore watch it on April 9 in all regions where Crunchyroll is available. New episodes will then be released each week for the entirety of Season 3.

“Tanjiro’s journey leads him to the Swordsmith Village, where he reunites with two Hashira, members of the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen: Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji,” reads an official plot synopsis. “With the shadows of demons lurking near, a new battle begins for Tanjiro and his comrades.”

As the episodes will be simulcast with Japan, they will only be available in Japanese with subtitles. Crunchyroll promised, however, that dubbed versions for English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, and Hindi will be produced and released in the future.

The Japanese voice cast includes Natsuki Hanae as Tanjiro Kamado, Akari Kito as Nezuko Kamado. Hiro Shimono as Zenitsu Agatsuma, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Inosuke Hashibira, Kengo Kawanishi as Muichiro Tokito, Kana Hanazawa as Mitsuri Kanroji, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Genya, Toshio Furukawa as Hantengu, and Kousuke Toriumi as Gyokko.

The first episode has already been seen by some hardcore fans who saw the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village movie in cinemas. This compilation film saw the last two episodes of Season 2 and the first of Season 3 blended together into a feature length experience.

Many fans left the film with a sour taste in their mouths, however, calling it a scam after feeling like it was marketed as a deep preview of Season 3 instead of just the first episode.
