KK’s daughter Taamara shares details about the late singer’s funeral. Says, love you forever dad
Singer KK passed away on May 31 after performing at a concert in Kolkata. The musician had reportedly suffered a heart attack and collapsed in his hotel room later that evening. Upon being rushed to the hospital, he was declared dead. His funeral will be held in Mumbai today. His daughter Taamara has now shared a heartbreaking post on her Instagram handle along with details of his funeral.
Taamara who is also a musician shared the details in an Instagram story captioned, “Love you forever dad”. The news of KK’s untimely demise came as a shock to his loved ones and fans. As people mourn the loss of the music icon, his last rites will be performed today.
Following KK’s passing, several videos of him falling ill emerged. He was performing at a college festival at the Nazrul Mancha venue. The concert was packed and recent reports reveal that the singer appeared to be in discomfort while he was on stage.
KK was only 53 at the time of his passing. He leaves behind a memorable discography that includes hit songs from independent albums as well as movie songs like Yaaron, Pyaar Ke Pal, and Ajab Si among others. He is survived by his wife, daughter and son. His funeral will take place at Versova’s crematorium where Hariharan, Alka Yagnik, Shreya Ghoshal and others have gathered to pay their last respects.
