She was in charge of the club’s elite pathways and was let go just days after club legend and coach Des Hasler was sacked in the wake of the pride jersey saga.

The Sea Eagles released a statement wishing Fulton “all the best” in her future.

In the statement, Fulton laid out her achievements during her time at the club, in what some have seen as a parting shot at the Sea Eagles.

“I was brought into the club to help execute a vision for a strong and thriving pathways,” she said.

“There are currently 16 players within the Manly Sea Eagles NRL squad who have come from the Manly Sea Eagles junior system, most of who graduated from the program I managed.

“I take great pride in supporting the players and their families and I look forward to seeing many more Manly pathways players achieve their dream of playing in the NRL in years to come.”

Manly pride rebel has ‘no regrets’

It’s understood Fulton had a close relationship with the playing group and reportedly warned the club about potential problems with the pride jersey.

Reports claim she aired her concerns at a meeting in late June with Manly’s marketing and commercial team, interim chief executive Gary Wolman and the club’s clothing manufacturer, Dynasty.

“The club needs to be careful about making political and social statements and we should look at this,” Fulton reportedly said.

While Fulton was shown the door, her brother Scott will stay at Manly as their head of recruitment while young forward Zac Fulton is set sign a two-year extension after his debut during the pride jersey round.
