Kunal Kemmu is gearing up for Abhay 3 and sharing his excitement, he recently said, ” truly believe that we are living in a golden age of streaming and there is some tremendous content on various OTT platforms not just in India but all over the world, but Abhay being one of the first very very successful OTT shows has managed to stand the test of time which I think is truly remarkable. It’s about this no nonsense cop and even though his personal life may be going up in flames, he`s always ready to look for the next serial killer or solve the next problem and you know it’s absolutely amazing.”
He added, “It’s almost like you get to meet the villain of the week with each passing episode or over a couple of episodes you get to see more and more kinds of crazy people out there in the show. It’s also fascinating. Also I’m a massive fan of this franchise and super excited.”
After two successful and critically acclaimed seasons, Abhay franchise has created its own niche in the thriller genre and now, with the premiere date set as 8th April, the wait is over for Season 3. Directed by Ken Ghosh and produced by Zee Studios, Abhay S3 stars Kunal Kemmu, Asha Negi and Nidhi Singh in returning roles and Vijay Raaz, Rahul Dev, Vidya Malvade, Tanuj Virwani and Divya Agarwal as the new cast members.
