Book your place for the 2022 Two Sides Power of Print seminar and experience one of the industry’s top in-person events for inspirational speakers and essential networking.

There’s just under a week to go before the 2022 Two Sides Power of Print seminar, and the excitement is building for one of the top events in the print, paper and marketing industries. Returning on Tuesday 1st of November at the historic Stationers’ Hall in London for its first in-person event since 2019, the seminar features leading speakers from the print, paper, packaging, sustainability, publishing, marketing and economics sectors, each one delivering expert insights that will bring you right up to date with the very latest thinking.

Not only that, the day will be followed by a drinks reception and a sumptuous three-course gala dinner, with the after-dinner speaker confirmed as Ian MacGregor, former editor of The Telegraph newspaper.

Insight And Inspiration

With the speaker line-up fully confirmed, the Power of Print seminar promises to be packed with fascinating details about print and sustainability. From Amanda Griffiths, Head of Insight and Planning at Royal Mail Marketreach, and Sajeeda Merali, CEO of the Professional Publishers Association (PPA), to Rowena Humby, Co-founder and CEO of Starcount, and Mark Maslin, Professor of Earth System Science at UCL, the morning session will combine the environmental benefits and marketing effectiveness of print, as well as details of how it can work seamlessly with digital media.

Following a delicious lunch and an opportunity for networking, the afternoon session will concentrate more on the business of print, paper and packaging, with Jori Ringman, Director General of the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI), joining Charles Jarrold, Chief Executive of the British Print Industry Federation (BPIF), in delivering key facts about the state of the UK and European print and paper industries. Andrea Boltho, Director of Oxford Economics, Oxford University, also returns to discuss the impact of Covid-19, the Ukrainian war, and inflation on the economy.

A Historic London Venue

Another important aspect of the seminar is the venue itself, and this year will be the eleventh time the Power of Print event has been held in Stationers’ Hall. Located near St Paul’s Cathedral in the heart of the City of London, Stationers’ Hall is one of the UK’s last remaining Livery Halls.

Dating back to the 16th Century, the Grade I listed building has recently undergone a £7.5m renovation, with the addition of a second entrance, new meeting rooms, and a lift to improve access to the historic Hall. The venue has also added air cooling throughout, as well as a private dining room looking over the secluded garden.

“Stationers’ Hall is such a historically important building that it was vital that we got everything right,” said Giles Fagan, Clerk to the Stationers’ Company. “Now we have the same beautiful building, but with better access and modern-day facilities.”
