LG’s 97-Inch OLED TV Requires No Wires to Function

CES 2023 is usually a prime time for TV makers to tout its upcoming lineup of TVs; this includes ones with features that go above and beyond to really stick out from the competition. LG’s latest TV is just one such device that is massive and can receive video and audio without any wires.

The LG Signature OLED M is a 97-inch TV that supports a 4K resolution. And as previously mentioned, it can produce audio and video wirelessly — no cables required. The device can do so thanks to a little wireless HDMI transmitter box (known as the “Zero Connect”), as you can see in the image below.

The Zero Connect box features three HDMI ports, all of which are capable of 4K at 120Hz, making this a good (albeit expensive) option for those that want a TV that will take full advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series X. LG also confirmed that the TV supports AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync technologies.

LG has yet to announce a release date for the Signature OLED M, nor has the company revealed how much this TV would cost. Though this TV will likely not be cheap as the Signature series can be quite costly, one such product in the Signature series includes the futuristic LG Signature OLED R — a $100,000 TV that can roll itself up and back down.
