It remains to be seen what happens with Bellingham this summer and whether or not Liverpool end up regretting not going for the midfielder.
He’s undoubtedly a world class talent, but Liverpool have shown in the past that they’re more than capable of making do with other options. And if FSG’s U-turn proves successful then the Bellingham transfer saga may well prove to be a distant memory.
