Nadia Sawalha, 57, has joined thousands of members of the public who gathered at London’s Hyde Park to watch the Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral procession. However, the actual procession was not visible from the park, and despite her best efforts, the Loose Women star had missed out on securing a spot along the route.

Nadia took to Instagram to give fans an insight into how she would be paying her respects to the late monarch on such an “historic day”.

She was joined by her husband Mark Adderley as they marked the culmination of the national mourning among other Brits.

Sharing a picture of the pair sitting in the park, Nadia described the atmosphere in the Central London spot during the funeral and subsequent procession.

In view of her 519,000 followers, she penned: “So glad @mark_adderley and your I decided to come into London on this historic day.

Pushing her further, Jane Moore asked: “Do you mean, like, as royals, or as like, Kim Kardashian? Because for me, they’re becoming like celebrities.”

“To me that’s all they are,” Stacey retorted, to which Linda Robson added: “I love the Queen.”

After asking why she did, her fellow panellist replied: “She’s always worked really hard.”

Stacey added: “But I would work really hard if the whole country paid for me to have like 12 houses, to work really hard.”
