‘Lots of c**p’ Mike Tindall shuts down I’m A Celeb backstage claim amid new pic with Zara | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
Mike Tindall was quick to shut down rumours that the I’m A Celebrity camp is full of glamour. It comes shortly after Jill Scott was crowned Queen of the Jungle during the ITV’s series final.
Every season viewers have speculated whether the show is actually how it appears on-screen, with some fans believing the celebrities are whisked away when cameras are not filming.
However, Mike, who finished in fourth place, treated fans to a behind-the-scenes peek away from the cameras.
The 44-year-old detailed all during a livestream on Sunday, where he admitted out of the jungle was just “lots of c**p”.
He said: “For everyone who thinks it’s glamorous in I’m A Celebrity, basically, this is behind the scenes. Lots of red c**p, lots of buses, erm, there’s not really anything going on.”

Mike then took his 355,000 followers on a whistle-stop tour of the crew who work on the programme and ensure the show’s safety and success.
He also introduced fellow campmates to his feed.
Speaking to Scarlette Douglas about the tents, Mike continued: “If you think it gets any more glamorous in the tents, let’s have a look shall we? This is what it looks like. Yes, it’s trestle tables and just seats. So it is just that.
“And then if you want to think that maybe the celebs hang out in a better place – I hate using the word celebs by the way – same.”
On his exit, he was greeted by his wife Zara.
After tightly embracing her on the bridge leaving camp, he later posted a loved-up selfie of the pair as they grabbed a bite to eat out together in the country they first met each other in 2003.
He captioned the post: “Reunited!!! Back to normality and time to eat!!! Thanks for all the kind messages! It was a blast! #imaceleb #familytime.”
There had been speculation on whether Mike planned to meet Zara on the bridge, as Princess Anne’s daughter had not been spotted Down Under.
The fomer rugby star was delighted to see his royal wife after camp life as the pair headed to the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa and Australia’s Gold Coast.
As Mike made his way over the bridge, they shared a cuddle and he could be heard saying “I’ve really missed you”.
Mike – who has been married to Zara, the niece of King Charles, since 2011 – says he really enjoyed his time on the ITV show and regrets nothing as he explained that his positive attitude helped him to overcome the challenge.
