Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo is ready with three new predictions. The tech analyst has now claimed that Apple may bring a new MacBook with a 15-inch display late next year “if all goes to plan” and that it might not be christened with the ‘Air’ tag, as per a report by 9To5Mac, based on a tweet by Kuo. A report earlier this week by Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) also claimed that the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on a 15-inch MacBook Air which could see launch in late 2023.
Here’s what the analyst said in the tweet:
“Predictions for Apple’s potential 15″ notebook in 2023:
1. Mass production in 4Q23 if all goes to plan.
2. Although a larger display generally consumes more power, the design goal is to use the same 30W power adapter as MacBook Air.
3. It might not be called MacBook Air.”

You may not believe in Apple dropping the ‘Air’ tag, but the tech giant is reportedly considering ditching the ‘Pro’ tag from its 13-inch MacBook Pro, which may get decked out with an M2 chip this year, as per 9To5Mac. So, it could very well be that Apple is considering playing around with the names of its laptops.
