Manly resign Lachlan Croker on two-year contract

Manly have completed the first player extension of the Anthony Seibold era, re-signing hooker Lachlan Croker until the end of the 2024 season.

Croker was the club’s player of the year in 2022 and was set to be off contract after the upcoming season, but will now stick around for at least another 12 months.

Croker spent time as a five-eighth and a bench option in his first couple of years in the NRL, but started the 2021 season in the No.9 shirt and hasn’t looked back.

“Lachlan is a very popular clubman who just loves pulling on the Manly jersey,” Sea Eagles CEO Tony Mestrov said.

“He has established himself as our starting hooker. Lachlan gives his all each and every week.

“We are very happy to extend Lachlan out for a further season.”

The 25-year-old played one first grade game for the Raiders in 2016, where his famous surname still holds a lot of weight – with his uncle Jason regarded as one of the club’s finest ever players.

Croker then made his debut for Manly in 2018, where he has remained ever since.
