Mark Hamill, the man that brought everyone’s favourite Jedi, Luke Skywalker to life was asked a couple of questions by a fan for the 5th anniversary of The Last Jedi. The fan put forward a very detailed question for the Star Wars actor, to which Hamill replied briefly, to say the least.

The first question he was asked was where he has any memories or anecdotes to share from when the film was being made, to which he replied ‘No’. The second question was whether he had changed his mind about anything after 5 years, to which he replied, ‘A little’. The last question was ‘would you have done anything differently’, to which he replied ‘Yes’.

On the topic of Star War: The Last Jedi, the director for the movie, Rian Johnson, has opened up about his approach towards the film. Spotted by Screenrant, in an interview with GQ, he spoke about how he didn’t think about the movie in a meta way about Star Wars. Instead, he dived into the intricacies of the characters and how the older generation would react to meeting the younger generation.

He also spoked about how the older generation has to be role models for the younger generation, but at the same time they are dealing faults and issues within themselves. Moreover, he spoke about Hamill’s character, who was a legend for younger folks but also a human at the same time. He concluded by stating, anyone that works on the next Star Wars movie, is going to be engaging with their relationship with Star Wars itself.

In the same interview, Johnson also spoked about the humor of the movie. He stated that anyone that believes that goofy humor is not the Star Wars way, they should see Return of the Jedi. He then goes on to reiterate a scene from the movie where Chewbacca scares of a droid while the team was working their way to save the princess.

Additionally, it seems the Darth Vader is going to be the new savior of the galaxy in the new Star Wars comic. According to a report by Screenrant, it seems that this time Darth Vader will be putting his life on the line to save the galaxy, but he does have an ulterior motive.

It seems the motive has been picked right from MCU’s Guardians of the Galaxy, where Darth Vader needs the galaxy to survive in order to control it. Though his motive is selfish, fans would love to see Darth Vader in the shoes of a hero.

Lastly, in an interview with SyFy, Shawn Levy, the director for Deadpool 3, Free Guy and Stranger Things has spoken about the Star Wars project he is working on. He said that the project is still early in development, but he wants to treat the movie in the same manner as he treats his other movies which includes a “visual spectacle, a healthy dose of wish fulfillment, levity, and big heart.”
