Following countless rumors, Marvel has finally confirmed the development of a new Iron Man game.

The iconic comic book publishers have tapped EA studio Motive to develop the title based around the genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, Tony Stark. The new EA studio is currently in the midst of developing the much-hyped Dead Space remake, which is set to release in January 2023.

The rumors about a title based around the Man in the Suit began around two months ago, when industry insider Jeff Grubb talked about EA working on a Black Panther and Iron Man title simultaneously in his Game Mess Mornings Podcast.

While the company has yet to reveal anything about the potential Black Panther game, which is reportedly in development at a new EA studio, the latest details about the Iron Man game suggest that the latter will be a single-player, third-person, action-adventure title.

Furthermore, it’s been stated that the title will include an original story following the rise and complexities of the billionaire industrialist. who also plays the role of a hero as Iron Man. At the moment, Marvel has revealed that the title is in the pre-production phase, with more details to be released soon.

The Motive Studio-led title will be the second Iron Man game of the decade, following the release of a VR game based around the character for the PlayStation VR back in 2020.
