Matteo Bocelli stuns with Solo live performance and shares tease for second single – WATCH | Music | Entertainment
Last year, Andrea Bocelli’s son Matteo Bocelli released his debut solo single, aptly named Solo. The rising star performed with a string section on a beach by a stunning bridge. He was introduced on Good Morning America: “Our next performance from an acclaimed singer-songwriter who began his musical journey at just six years old. And today he’s bringing us a special performance of his debut single, which has surpassed three million streams worldwide. Here is Matteo Bocelli.”
Following the incredible reception to his first single, Matteo has archived his entire Instagram, much to the dismay of fans, ready to reboot with his second solo track.
Just three days ago, the 24-year-old, who is also set to release an album in 2022, teased: “We’re getting close… something new is coming! Can’t wait to share my new music with you, we’ve been working hard! Stay close…”
Andrea’s son shared some amazing shots from his upcoming new music video and captioned the post: “Guess where the video was shot? I’ll give you a hint, we were close to the house of Romeo and Juliet. Write your answers in the comments below!”
Fans correctly guessed that it must be Verona in Italy where William Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy is set.
Just in the last 24 hours, Matteo has shared a couple of seconds from the mystery second single, showing him singing inside Arena di Verona.
The rising star captioned this one: “This new song is really important to me. I see it as a direct follow up to Solo. My first single was about coming to terms with the loneliness that often comes hand in hand with building your own path in life. While making your way in the world is crucial, so is being close to the people you care about, now more than ever, given what we’ve all been through. Life is now. It’s not in the past and it’s not somewhere in a planned to perfection future. I don’t know much about the future and I guess I’m ok with that, I think as long as we’re together we can take it good or bad.”
Fans in the comments said they couldn’t wait to hear the heartthrob’s latest song and no doubt the track will be released very soon.
