Meghan and Harry will be ‘diminished’ if they snub Coronation, claims Vanessa Feltz | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
In an interview with Express.co.uk, the TalkTV host commented: “Of course they should come and I think they will come; I’d be very surprised if they didn’t come.
“They need to come because they need to reinforce their royal credentials. If they are not there, then they diminish their own earning capacity; their own cachet diminishes if they are not there.
“They’ve got to be royal, if they aren’t royal they don’t count, so they must come.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have had an invite to the King’s Coronation, but have not yet confirmed whether they will attend.

They added: “An immediate decision on whether the Duke and Duchess will attend will not be disclosed by us at this time.”
However, This Morning regular Vanessa says she felt it was “incredibly rude” of Harry and Meghan not to issue a response.
She continued: “I thought it was incredibly rude of them not to respond, you don’t just not answer an invitation!
“I don’t think you get invited to your father’s Coronation and you just don’t respond, you don’t say whether you are coming or going, you are kind of hedging your bets and weighing up your options.
“I think that is really appallingly rude and I think they should definitely come.
“There is nothing on earth to witness of such momentous importance and spiritual significance as your father’s Coronation as King. It’s enormous.
“What could you possibly be doing that day that is more important? Washing your hair? Baking Archie a caterpillar cake for his birthday party? Bl**dy hell!”
