Mia Farrow has spoken out about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in view of her 467,000 Twitter followers.

In the now-deleted tweet, obtained by the MailOnline, the actress revealed her “unkind thought of the day”.

This was all about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and how she was “tired” of them.

The 78-year-old said she wished the couple, who wed in 2018, “every happiness” after the tragic death of his mother Princess Diana.

However, her post quickly sparked a backlash, with some users highlighting how the star’s own private life with ex Woody Allen has frequently made headlines over the years.

Mia had tweeted: “Here’s my unkind thought of the day: Im getting a little bit tired of Harry and Meghan.

“Of course those who remember the heartbreaking image of Harry, a child, walking behind his mums casket – and we can only wish him and both of every happiness.”

One follower claimed she was being hypocritical, saying fans had been subjected to her family’s “dirty laundry… for decades”.

Another wrote: “Imagine having this many skeletons in one’s closet but having the nerve to say you are tired of a man and woman you do not know and have not been seen or heard from in months.”

A third said: “I don’t recall anyone asking Mia Farrow for her hypocritical 2 cents in the first place.”

But one fan defended her statement, agreeing: “Can’t stand Harry and Megain and the horrible way they treat family. It’s about time people speak up.”

While someone else urged: “I had the same unkind thought as Mia, months ago. Stans your ground Mia.”(sic)

Mia’s statement came on the same day it was confirmed that Prince Harry would be attending his father King Charles’s Coronation.

Buckingham Palace announced that the Duke would be minus his wife for the event.

The couple, who have two children, currently reside in California, where Mia is from and currently lives.

She has in the past praised Meghan online, and defended her against a piece by 60 Minutes Australia.

She wrote in 2019: “Great Britain is fortunate to have this intelligent, compassionate, beautiful woman in the Royal Family. In her, Prince Harry has found happiness and for that we rejoice.”
