Micromax today has launched a selfie-centric budget smartphone, the Seflie 3 in India. The smartphone priced at Rs. 11,999 and will be available to purchase at all leading retail stores across the country starting from today onward in Black and Blue color options.
Design and Features
As name suggested, the main highlight of the smartphone is its front camera, the device features a 16MP camera on the front along with face buty mode and selfie flash. The phone looks beautiful with round edges and there is a circular shaped fingerprint scanner paced at the back below the camera setup.
“The device supports Auto Scene Detection which analyses the type of scene and shooting conditions you’re photographing and then automatically provides the users with options to select the best settings. It also has Portrait mode, HDR Mode, Night Mode that will make your each photo perfect in any mode,”
the company said in its release.
Coming on specifications, the Micromax Selfie 3 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports a 5” Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone is powered by a 1.4GHz 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
As mentioned above, the Micromax Selfie 3 sports a 16MP front facing camera with samsung sensor along with face beauty mode and selfie flash. On the back it features a 13MP rare camera with Sony sensor, Super Pixel mode, Auto Scene Detection, Portrait mode, HDR and Night mode and LED flash for taking better low light pictures.
The smartphone is fueled by a 3000mAh non-removeable battery which the company claims deliver a talk time of 11 hours, music playback of up to 22 hours and a standby time of 250 hours. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. Sensors on board fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity.
