Microsoft is making some notable changes in the To-Do app this week. The company is redesigning the To-Do app with some customization and also renaming it as only To Do in place of To-Do. Out of many other changes that have been done in the To Do app the most notable change is the ability of the app to customize the background of the notes with a variety of images and color templates that can theme the entire app.
Even the users can choose the from the Berlin TV tower background that was featured in Wunderlist, as Microsoft tries to bring the best of Wunderlist and To Do together. After going through these customizations, the To Do looks a lot more like the original Wunderlist now, and backgrounds are customizable per list so you can really customize the look of To Do on a list by list basis.
Also, it comes with Dark Mode support on Android Windows, and Mac, and it will soon debut on iOS 13 once Apple releases the update later this month. Apart from new backgrounds, Microsoft is also reminding the Wunderlist users what has changed in To Do over the past year or so. Microsoft is really hoping that these new To Do changes will help ease Wunderlist fans into the app.
The To Do app has been redesigned just days after Wunderlist founder Christian Reber offered to buy back the app from Microsoft to avoid it being shut down. However, Microsoft didn’t mention any date for the Wunderlist to be shut down, but the company has claimed that the new version of To Do is “our best-of-both-worlds vision realized.”
