The soaring prices of lemon and petrol across the country made a shopkeeper in Varanasi come up with a unique offer. The owner of Mobi World in the City of Light is offering free lemons on the purchase of mobile accessories.
The shopkeeper is also claiming to offer free petrol to consumers who buy mobile accessories worth Rs 10,000. A poster put up in from of the shop says that 2 to 4 lemons will be given with mobile accessories. This offer is irrespective of the amount of purchase. The shopkeeper has put lemons in paper plates across counters in his shop.
The ‘interesting’ incentive is being offered since the prices of both lemons and petrol have escalated in recent weeks. Lemons are selling for around Rs 300 per KG in Delhi-NCR. The petrol prices too have crossed the Rs 100 mark across the country.
