Switzerland brings a well-balanced and experienced squad to Qatar and that’s evidenced by the value of their players.
The Swiss team isn’t one that’s filled with a massive big-money star, but rather one that has a number of incredibly solid players.
Manchester City defender Manuel Akanji is the squad’s most valuable player, but he’s closely followed by the likes of Breel Embolo, Denis Zakaria and Nico Elvedi.
Switzerland also still has the experienced quartet of skipper Granit Xhaka, Ricardo Rodriguez, Xherdan Shaqiri and Yann Sommer.
