Moto G22 launched: MediaTek processor, 5,000mAh battery and other key specs of the new budget phone

Motorola has expanded its G-series smartphone range. The company has launched Moto G22 in the European market. The budget smartphone is powered by MediaTek chipset and sports a quad camera setup on the back.
Moto G22 price
Moto G22 packs 4GB RAM paired with 64GB internal storage. The smartphone is priced at €169.99 that roughly translates to Rs 14,300. The handset comes in three colour options – Cosmic Black, Pearl White, and Iceberg Blue.
The smartphone is expected to launch in other markets soon. The company has not yet revealed th availability timeline of the phone.
Moto G22 specifications
Moto G22 comes with a 6.5-inch Max Vision display. The phone’s screen comes with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It features a punch-hole camera cutout at the front and offers a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Powering the device is MediaTek Helio G37 octa-core chipset. It packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone comes with a microSD card to expand the storage. Moto G22 houses a 5,000 mAh battery with a 10 watt charger support out of the box.
On the connectivity front, the smartphone offers a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and NFC. Moto G22 comes with a single speaker for audio. At the front, the smartphone features a 16MP camera for selfies.
The rear camera system comprises four sensors. These are a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. The device runs Android 12 operating system and weighs about 185 grams.
