Mozilla Firefox 103 update brings 120Hz refresh rate support, better resource management and more

Mozilla has started rolling out version 103 update for Firefox on macOS. The latest update of the browser brings a host of new features which includes support for 120Hz monitors, improved responsiveness and more.
With 103 update Firefox now supports 120Hz refresh rate displays. Which means, it is also compatible with 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro powered by M1 Pro and M1 Max chips. This will allow users to experience smooth scrolling while browsing using Firefox browser.
In addition to that, Firefox 103 also includes a new modern lock API which improves the overall responsiveness of the browser under heavy load. The browser now alos highlights the required fields in PDF forms.
Other improvements include updated Picture-in-Picture (PiP) subtitles which allows users to change the font size directly from the PiP window.
In addition to these, Firefox 103 also includes some keyboard shortcuts. Users can now access buttons in Tabs toolbar with Tab, Shift+Tab and Arrow keys.
The Firefox 103 update is now available to download on both macOS and Windows operating systems. To download the update, follow these steps:
In the menu bar, open the Firefox menu and choose About Firefox.
Firefox will check for updates automatically. If an update is available, it will be downloaded.
Restart the Firefox browser to install the update.
