Recently, a MultiVersus ad appeared on Xbox consoles that showcases Black Adam and Stripe as featured heroes of the game, though there are no official announcements yet.
As spotted by SantaRicky, the ad on the home page of the Xbox console showcases a clear image of Black Adam as well as Stripe standing in front of him. This is an unseen ad from MultiVersus so far, regarding the fact that none of the aforementioned heroes are currently available in the game.
There is no information on whether the ad is still up on Xbox consoles or it has been removed, but anyway, it has definitely leaked a big MultiVersus announcement in the future. Season 1 of MultiVersus will soon be available, and it brings Morty as a brand new playable character.
It’s yet to be seen whether Black Adam and Stripe are among the Season 1 plans, or we will see them in the future seasons of the game.
Regarding the fact that the Black Adam movie is supposed to be premiered on October 21 this year, it could be exciting to see the character joining the MultiVersus roster in the same month. Dwayne Johnson will star as Black Adam in the upcoming movie, but the character in MultiVersus has an appearance more similar to comics than The Rock.
It was recently revealed that MultiVersus has managed to reach 10 million players across all platforms in less than a month since its launch. It’s definitely a great milestone for a fighting game. Getting launched as a free-to-play experience has sure helped MultiVersus a lot in reaching such a big achievement at the beginning of its career. However, it remains how the game will be supported in the future, and whether it will still be able to keep all players engaged for a long time or not.
Currently, MultiVersus features 18 playable heroes as well as a few stages and both co-op and PvP multiplayer modes. As you play the game and complete challenges, you progress through the Battle Pass, which unlocks new in-game rewards including cosmetic items.
