Former England footballer Jamie Vardy’s wife, Rebekah, recently spoke about her strict parenting style and revealed that her kids hate her for it. Jamie, 35, and Rebekah, 40, have been married since 2016 and have three children together—Sofia, six, Finlay, four, and Olivia, one. Rebekah also has a daughter Megan, 17, and son Taylor, 11, from previous relationships while Jamie has daughter Ella, 11, from his previous partner.
Speaking at the launch of a children’s book, Cedric, the little sloth with a big dream, Rebekah said that she finds it difficult to encourage her kids to read more books and spend less time on their mobiles. “It’s one of our big things—and the kids hate us for it—but I think it’s so important. The kind of messages you can get from books are just invaluable and you can’t get that from a PlayStation or an IPad,” the model added.
