Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the year 2022 announced January 16 as the National Startup Day to promote entrepreneurship and businesses. The same year India celebrated the first National Startup Day. The day is marked to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship and promote achievements of Indian startups. The PM had called startups as the backbone of the ‘new India’. On the second National Startup Day, here’s what founders of some prominent Indian startups have to say:
