Naughty Dog, the studio behind franchises like The Last of Us might be working with a new Sony studio based in San Diego, California.

According to the job listings found by VGC, the new San Diego studio is potentially working on a title with Naughty Dog on a “beloved franchise.” Following the release of The Last of Us: Part 1, fans are wondering what Naughty Dog franchise might receive the remake treatment from the studio.

Both the job listings seem to point towards Sony’s Visual Arts studio based in San Diego, which was part of the development of The Last of Us: Part 1.

Do you want to see a new Uncharted title?

The report further suggests that the rumored remake in question might be the first Uncharted title, as the Visual Arts Service Group once had plans to develop the 2007 Naughty Dog title before it was stopped due to high budget costs. (via Bloomberg)

At the moment, fans might want to take these rumors with a grain of salt, as it’s still up in the air on whether Naughty Dog is looking to revisit Uncharted or any of its other franchises like Jak & Daxter or Crash Bandicoot. However, we would love to see Nathan Drake go on an adventure again with the visual fidelity of modern-day titles.
