The trailer of Barbie lives up to the hype as it takes us into Barbie Land. When Margot Robbie’s Barbie decides to go to the Real World and Ken, who is infatuated with her, tags along. In another scene, Gosling’s Ken faces off with Simu Liu’s Ken.

The synopsis reads, “To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Or you’re Ken.”
Apart from giving us a glimpse of life in plastic, the trailer gives away a lot about the movie. The highlight is the fact that the inhabitants of Barbie Land are aware of the Real World. Barbie, which also features America Ferrera, Kate McKinnon, Michael Cera, Ariana Greenblatt, Issa Rae and others, is all set to release on July 21.
