A new week means new games on the Nintendo Switch, but what new releases will be gracing the Nintendo eShop and retail store shelves over the next few days?
There’s a lot to cut through, as is the norm on the Switch, and not all of it is going to be top-tier gaming material. Mozart Requiem being a fine example. Did you know the official reveal was withdrawn last year after being widely mocked online? Might be one to avoid, then.
But, that’s not to say that the entire week is a dud. The big one that Nintendo fans have been waiting for is almost here: Splatoon 3. After giving players a taste with its free trial last month, it’s finally time for the colorful Inklings to make their grand return in the series’ second outing on the Nintendo Switch; the first game made splashes on the Wii U and the Switch, while Nintendo dropped the Wii U in favor of releasing Splatoon 2 exclusively on the Switch.
Splatoon 3 will release just in time for some weekend shenanigans as it lands on the eShop and at retail on Friday. If you can’t wait until then to get your fill of family-friendly fun, Disney Dreamlight Valley brings its hybrid mix of life-sim/adventuring to Switch on Tuesday.
Sports fans are catered to this week with the latest installment in 2K’s basketball series, NBA 2K23, while racing aficionados will be able to take classic motors on fast and furious speed runs with Classic Racers Elite.
