It’s a big week for open-world crime fans this week as the Saints Row reboot finally busts out of holding and makes its way to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, complete with the series’ trademark humour, violence, and buffonery. It’s just a shame that the old ‘Boss’ voices won’t be around to provide scathing social commentary.
It’s not all car chases and explosions this week; there’s also plenty of kicking and punching with Midnight Fight Express, a new action-brawler coming to Xbox on Tuesday. The early reviews are already in and it’s looking good for the wee indie fighter. What’s more is that if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can play Mightnight Fight Express at no extra cost as the game is launching directly onto Microsoft’s subscription service. No reason not to try it, then.
Other highlights this week include the new Path of Exile expansion, Pac-Man World: Re-Pac, and the neat little Nexomon bundle that sticks the original and the sequel into one convenient package.
