MG Motor India has announced the next-gen Hector, a new SUV with various advanced technologies, convenient features, and a comfortable driving experience. The Next-Gen Hector aims to improve road performance with increased safety and driving ease.
The vehicle has a striking exterior and luxurious interior, as well as evolved safety features and an elegant design. It is available in 5, 6, and 7-seater configurations and boasts intelligent seating arrangements, high-end interiors, and ample space.
The next-gen Hector comes with Autonomous Level 2 SUV equipped with 11 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, including Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and Auto Turn Indicators, to ensure the highest level of safety and comfort. The new SUV is equipped with India’s largest 35.56 cm (14-inch) HD portrait infotainment system, featuring a brand-new user interface. The vehicle also includes a first-of-its-kind Digital Bluetooth® Key and Key Sharing capability. The Digital Key can be used to lock, unlock, start, and drive the vehicle in case of an emergency or key loss. The Remote Lock/Unlock feature allows the car to be unlocked from a distance, and the key-sharing function allows up to two additional people to have access to the vehicle.
The next-gen Hector has more than 75 connected features, including 100 voice commands, thanks to its innovative i-SMART technology, which combines hardware, software, connectivity, services, and applications to provide a smarter and more enjoyable driving experience.
The vehicle’s voice commands, enabled by the i-SMART tech, offer a range of industry-first features, such as touch-screen control for the sunroof, voice commands for ambient lights, and navigation voice guidance in five Indian languages, as well as more than 50 Hinglish commands and helpful apps like Park+ for parking discovery and booking and the Jio-Saavn App for music.
The next-gen Hector is also equipped with a premium Infinity audio system that features wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay and delivers 360-degree rich sound.
The interior of the Next-Gen Hector is available in a dual-tone argil brown and black theme with a wooden finish. The 6-seater SUV features captain’s chairs, while the 7-seater vehicle has bench seats.
