Niantic Announces Pokemon Go Summer Tour 2019: Hosting Fest events in Chicago, Dortmund, and Asia

Just like previous year, Niantic has announced three Pokemon Go Fest event in 2019. As before, this event was only held for two days in Chicago, but this time Niantic will be hosting this event in three different regions including North America, Europe, and Asia. Pokemon Go Summer Tour will kick off from Chicago and will end in Asia. This is the biggest event ever held by Niantic.

As mentioned, this event will kick off from Chicago’s Grant Park, the same site where the last two Pokemon Go Fests held. Also, this event will run for an additional two days from June 13-16. Also, one more changes have been done by Niantic for this event and that is the ticketing system. This time, you can buy tickets for these events right from the Pokemon Go app as Niantic is on its way to building a new ticketing system in the app itself.

Next destination of this tour is Dortmund, Germany. Here the event runs from July 4-7 and takes place at Westfalenpark. Similar to first, you will be able to buy tickets from this event from the Pokemon Go app itself. And the last destination of this tour will be Asia. however, Niantic will reveal more details of this destination later in the coming days.

In case, if you failed to attend the Pokemon Go Fest event, you’ll have a golden opportunity to participate in global challenges during the events and unlock some special rewards. In addition, Niantic will also host its monthly Community Days in June, July, and August, offering trainers more events for the summer to catch Pokemon.
