Appearing on Loose Women, panellist Coleen Nolan asked him: “Were they assuming when she met, oh she’s with him because he’s Nick Knowles?”
He replied: “It’s just that. She’s an attractive girl and they go, ‘Oh she’s this, that, and the other’.
“It just really annoyed me that people could make assumptions about someone without knowing anything about them.
“And I usually never say anything about my personal life, ever ever ever.” He added that he felt he had to defend their relationship because the comments were “so unfair”.
Hitting back at any suggestion that she is in a relationship with Nick because of his money, he said: “She’s an incredibly bright girl. She has two degrees and an amazing business.”
