Japanese gaming giants Nintendo has issued an apology to fans of the Pokemon series following the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

The latest title of the iconic franchise arrived last month. However, the game was met with several reviews of the playthroughs, which featured performance issues of all kind.

Players took to social media to voice their concerns about the lack of optimization for the title, despite being one of the series’ strongest entries when it comes to gameplay and visuals.

Ever since then, fans have been clamoring for changes to the game, with fixes for issues such as game-breaking bugs, glitches, stuttering framerate and more.

While the game hasn’t received a massive update as of yet, the developers unveiled update 1.1.0 yesterday with several bug fixes and other changes. Some of these include the arrival of Season 1 of Ranked Battles, which you can take part in through the Battle Stadiums, even with the issues surrounding it.

Along with the new tweaks, Nintendo acknowledged the game’s problems. The Japanese video game company said, “We are aware that players may encounter issues that affect the games’ performance.”

Moreover, the company also apologized to players, who had to face these problems, while also confirming that Nintendo will be looking over the problems faced by the community.

“Our goal is always to give players a positive experience with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We take the feedback from players seriously and are working on improvements to the games,” said Nintendo.
