Spain’s health ministry says that visitors currently have to show proof of full vaccination, a recent PCR negative test within 72 hours before arrival or a certificate of having recovered from COVID-19 to get into the country.

A senior government official in the country told CNN on Monday that international sporting events in Spain could also add other rules for participants, including COVID-19 testing on a daily basis during tournaments.

So it appears the tennis ace could find it a lot harder than perhaps he initially thought to get the go-ahead to play at the tournaments he has been a regular at for the last 17 years.
