One UI 5 beta is now available for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2

Samsung recently announced the One UI 5 beta program based on the Android 13 operating system for its latest foldable smartphones — Galaxy Z Flip4 and Galaxy Z Fold4 smartphones. A couple of days back, the company rolled out the program for Galaxy Z Flip3 and now it has announced the One UI 5 beta for Z Fold2 smartphone.
Samsung has made the announcement via an official post on the Korean community page. As per the post, the Galaxy Z Fold2 smartphone users can now enroll in One UI 5 beta program and test out the new features ahead of the official rollout.
It is also important to note that Samsung has promised three years of OS updates for Z Fold2 which means, the One UI 5 and Android 13 beta is the last update that the handset will receive. However, it will continue receiving security updates for another year (till 2024).
How to enroll into One UI 5 beta
Download and open Samsung Members app
Now, look for One UI 5 beta banner at the top of the home screen app and tap on it
Here, tap on enrol button and follow the on-screen instructions to enrol into the program
One UI 5: Features
One UI 5 is based on the Android 13 operating system and it brings several new features including the personalised experience with new modes and routines. Apart from that, the new custom user interface also bring several personalisation options such as new colour pallets from Android 13, a Dynamic lock screen, smooth animations and more.
Apart from that, the update includes Bixby Text call feature along with ability to set custom call screen for each contact.
