OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro receiving new OxygenOS 12 update in India

NEW DELHI: OnePlus has started rolling out a new OxygenOS update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users in India. The OxygenOS 12 (C.48) update also brings along the security patch for the month of April 2022. The update is being released in a phased manner and it also brings some system-level stability and improvements.
OnePlus has confirmed the rollout of OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro users in India, Europe and North America. The incremental update comes as LE2111_11.C.48 for OnePlus 9 users and as LE2121_11.C.48 for OnePlus 9 Pro users. The company has not revealed the size of the update but the changelog mentions the existence of an Android security patch for April 2022. OnePlus recommends users to backup their data before downloading the update. The company also recommends having a strong WiFi connection before downloading the update.
It is an OTA update and users will receive a push notification on their smartphones. However, you can also check for the update manually by going to Settings > System > System updates.
Meanwhile, OnePlus is all set to launch its new smartphones and true wireless earbuds in India. The company has scheduled a launch event for April 28, where it will unveil the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus 10R and the Nord Buds. The launch event will begin at 12.30pm and will be live-streamed on the social media channels of the company.
