NEW DELHI: After numerous online leaks and rumours, OnePlus has now confirmed that it will soon launch its new Nord series smartphone in India. After the global unveiling, the company has now confirmed that it will launch the OnePlus Nord 2T smartphone in the country soon.
OnePlus Nord 2T confirmed specifications
In an official note shared by the company, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Nord 2T will come with 80W SuperVOOC charging support, which the company introduced with its flagship smartphone OnePlus 10 Pro. The smartphone will also be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and will house the AI-enhanced camera which the company has incorporated in the OnePlus 10R. The smartphone is also confirmed to run Android 12 operating system.
The company has already launched the smartphone in Europe and the UK and is expected to bring the same variant to India.
OnePlus Nord 2T specifications
OnePlus Nord 2T sports a 6.43-inch full HD+ Fluid AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The mid-range OnePlus smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM. OnePlus Nord 2T comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB. The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OxygenOS 12.1.
OnePlus Nord 2T comes with dual SIM support and it comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone features a triple rear camera setup which comprises a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP mono camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone comes with stereo speakers and is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
OnePlus Nord 2T expected price
A recent online report revealed that OnePlus Nord 2T 5G will come in two storage options — 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The report further added that the 8GB RAM variant is likely to be priced at Rs 28,999, while the 12GB RAM version is said to cost Rs 31,999. The smartphone is rumoured to come in Grey Shadow and Jade Fog colour options.
