OnePlus has been preparing for a launch event for their new flagship smartphones, OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite. This event is scheduled for the 28th of April, 2022, and the products are being revealed for India. Alongside the smartphones, the company also plans to release a pair of bluetooth earphones for their user base. These new set of earphones are being dubbed as, OnePlus Nord Buds.
OnePlus Nord Buds have suffered from a major leak ahead of its launch, this leak enlists all the specifications that the device will have. Through the OnePlus website, interested individuals already new about some of the features that were coming in, such as 12.4mm Titanium Drivers for deep bass and other information such as battery, noise cancellation, and waterproof certification were kept to be revealed on a later date.
Through one of the previous leaks, the fans already new that the latest design will incorporate TWS in the Buds. Now through a leak by a renowned tipster, Mark Jambor, people have learned a lot more about the device. Max Jambor’s tweet outlines almost all the specifications for the upcoming device, leaving probably nothing to be unveiled at the event.

Through his tweet the people have learned about the 12.4mm driver, which was already enclosed by the company, but some other important information has been revealed as well. The people have learned that the device will come with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for stronger and longer ranged connections.
The device will also come with a sufficient battery and a fast charger, the tweet states that user will be able to get 5 hours of listening with just 10 minutes of charging. Other than that the tweet also states that the user will have a total of 30 hours of playback with a fully charged case.
Furthermore, the device has received an IP55 rating, making it resistant to water splashes and dirt. The device will be coming in with 3 colour options, Black, White and Blue. The only negative detail is that the device will not have Active Noise Cancellation of ANC capabilities.
So this is all that was covered in the leak, but at the end of the day it is a leak and the information does not come from an official source. Therefore, the people should take all of this information with a grain of salt as OnePlus could come up with something unexpected too.
