OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G with 65W charging, 64MP camera launched in India: Price, specs and more
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G has arrived. OnePlus has expanded its affordable Nord series of smartphones with the launch of OnePlus Nord CE 2 in India. Successor to the last year launched, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G, the smartphone comes with a new design and improved processor.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G packs MediaTek Dimensity chipset and houses a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. The smartphone sports a 64MP triple rear camera and an AMOLED display.
Price and availability
OnePlus Nord CE 2 comes in two variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. The company has priced the 6GB variant at Rs 23,999, while the 8GB version cost Rs 24,999. The smartphone can be purchased in two colour options — Gray Mirror and Bahama Blue. Customers will be able to purchase the smartphone online from Amazon.in starting February 22.
At this price point, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G competes against the recently launched Realme 9 Pro+ which comes with a price tag of Rs 24,999.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5 G specifications
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G comes with a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 90Hz refresh rate and is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The mid-range smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G packs 128GB internal storage, which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OxygenOS 11.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G sports a triple rear camera setup with 64MP main camera with f/1.79 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.25 aperture and 2MP monochrome camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture. The camera on the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G offers features like AI Scene Enhancement, AI Highlight Video, Dual view for video, night portrait, retouch and filters.
The smartphone comes with a triple card slot, which means that you can use two SIM cards and one microSD card at the same time. The handset comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and runs Android 11 operating system.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC charging support. The company claims that with 15 minutes of charging, the smartphone can last a whole day.
