oneplus: OnePlus Nord 2T camera details leaked ahead of rumoured India launch

OnePlus is reportedly working on a new smartphone dubbed as OnePlus Nord 2T. The device is said to be successor to the OnePlus Nord 2 that was launched last year. Although the company has not revealed anything about the smartphone, rumours suggest that the OnePlus Nord 2T will be launched in May. As per the reports, the smartphone has been spotted on TRDA certification and Camera FV5 website ahead of the rumoured launch.
The device spotted on the certification website sports model number CPH2399. The listing on the Camera FV5 website has also revealed what buyers can expect from the camera of upcoming Nord 2T smartphones. As per the listing, the device will get a 50MP primary camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture and a 24.6mm focal length. The listing also suggests that the smartphones will get support for electronic image stabilisation (EIS).
The 50MP sensor on the smartphone is said to be paired with an 8MP ulta wide sensor and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfie and video calls, the device is said to get 32MP camera at the front.
If previous leaks are to be believed, the OnePlus Nord 2T smartphones will feature a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. The display is said to get a punch-hole cutout and peak refresh rate of 90Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is rumoured to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset.
When it comes to battery, the device is said to pack a 4,500 mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to run on Android 12 out of the box. The company is currently gearing up to launch the OnePlus Nord Buds along with the OnePlus 10R 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G at the “More Power To You” event on April 28.
