Oppo Reno 8T to arrive with OLED display, 67W fast charging: Expected specs

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo is reportedly planning to expand its new Reno 8 series smartphone lineup with a new device. The Oppo Reno 8T is expected to arrive in two connectivity variants — 4G and 5G. These variants are rumoured to arrive in several global markets including India. Recently leaked renders of the smartphones have revealed a few details about the same. According to a Phoneev report (spotted GizmoChina), the 4G and 5G variants of the Reno 8T will ship with slightly different specifications.
The report doesn’t reveal the launch date of the Oppo Reno 8T but claims that the smartphone will debut in the global market by the end of January and will arrive in India by February. As per the report, the smartphone may arrive in the Indian market as the Oppo F23. Here are all the expected details about the upcoming phones:
Oppo Reno 8T 5G variant: Expected specifications
The 5G variant of the Oppo Reno 8T is likely to sport a 6.67-inch OLED 10-bit display that may support a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone may come powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset which is expected to be backed by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Reno 8T 5G is rumoured to pack a 4800mAh battery unit that may support 67W wired fast charging.
Meanwhile, the 4G variant of the smartphone will feature a Mediatek Helio G99 chipset with a Mali-G57 MC2 graphics unit. The SoC will be coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and is expected to support only 33W charging. Both smartphone models are expected to boot Colour OS 13 based on Android 13 OS out of the box.

For optics, the smartphone models are rumoured to house a triple rear camera unit which will include a 108MP main camera and a pair of 2MP sensors.
Apart from this, the 4G model is also expected to flaunt a faux leather back, just like the Oppo Reno 7. On the other hand, the 5G variant is rumoured to ship with the same design as the Oppo A1 Pro 5G and the Realme 10 Pro+ 5G.
