Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi Partner for Cross-brand File Transfer Technology

Three Chinese Electronics giants, Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi have announced a partnership on the innovative cross-brand File Transfer Technology. The companies have jointly formed Inter transmission alliance to provide better file transfer platform to users on their smartphones.

It’s an innovative cross-brand one-click transmission technology which is designed to transfer files with just one click without any hassle. The new technology will be introduced very soon to the latest Smartphones and it will come within the system’s software. It will eliminate the need for a third-party file transfer app.

The new application will support all types of file formats for sharing photos, videos, documents, music and much more. The new file-sharing Mobile Point-to-Point Fast Transfer Protocol — Mobile Direct Fast Exchange. It will use Bluetooth for quick pairing and fast transferring of all types of files from device to device.

What makes this new technology a welcome one is it will consume less energy and works way faster than any other third-party apps. It also offers good stability and the connection between two devices will not be interrupted in the middle.

Interestingly, the giants have revealed everything about this new file-sharing technology. To make use of this new feature, users don’t need to have an high-end smartphone. The file-sharing speed with this technology would be around 20 MB per second. Currently, there are only three smartphone companies who will be using this technology. However, in the coming weeks, we will see more smartphone manufacturers who will also join this venture.

They are currently looking for new partners who can join their team to build a great alliance. By partnering with more companies, they can build a large alliance which can work more efficiently on the future phones.

We have to accept the fact that Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi are covering up to 50% of the Smartphone Market in China and in the global market. Major smartphones will get the chance to use this advance file-sharing ecosystem in the coming months. Huawei and its sub-brand Honor are also going to join the alliance very soon.
